Advancing UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2016, the World Health Organization declared that sound management of chemicals and waste was essential to achieving the 17 sustainable development goals (SDG).

Government of Ontario Launching New Illness & Disease Prevention Strategy

The Government of Ontario has announced the launch of a new illness and disease prevention strategy, including appointing Dr. Paul Demers, Director of the Occupational Cancer Research Centre in Ontario, to conduct a review of occupational cancer. Watch Dr. Demers' Nachemson Memorial Lecture on preventing occupational disease and learn about why more hazard/exposure surveillance is needed in the workplace.
