Quinte West Making Strides in Reducing Chemical Use

The City of Quinte West is now ahead of the curve in terms of dealing with chemicals in the workplace thanks to software developed by Belleville-based Rillea Technologies Inc.

Lisa and Rob Hallsworth of Rillea, chemical engineers with more than 60 years of experience in high risk chemical manufacturing, appeared before Quinte West council Monday night to recognize the city for its work toward reaching the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
